Calilog Terms of Use
Last updated: May 2026 · Version 2
Welcome to Calilog. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Calilog mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
Calilog is operated by Nordic Bytes AB (org. no. 559048-9406), a company registered in Sweden ("we", "us", "Calilog").
1. The Service
Calilog is a calisthenics training journal. It lets you plan workouts, log sets, track progression, attach instruction videos to exercises, share workouts and exercises with the community, and — depending on your subscription tier — access expanded features such as community publishing, instruction videos, and coaching.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Calilog. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your country, your parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.
3. Your account
You are responsible for safeguarding access to your account and for any activity that happens under it. Sign in with a personal email address and do not share your account with others. Calilog is not liable for losses arising from unauthorised account access caused by your failure to maintain account security.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Calilog offers Free, Pro, and Coach tiers. Paid tiers are billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play on the schedule shown at purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled in your platform's subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies.
A 30-day Pro trial may be activated by claiming a coach invite code. The trial converts to Free unless you upgrade before it expires. Trial entitlements may be revoked if the trial is abused (e.g. by claiming multiple invite codes in succession to extend access).
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the workouts, exercises, comments, photos, and videos you upload. By publishing content to the community feed, sharing it with a coach, or sharing it with other users, you grant Calilog a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, modify (for reformatting and bandwidth purposes), and display that content for the limited purpose of operating and providing the Service. The licence ends when you delete the content, except that:
- We may retain backups for a reasonable period before they are purged.
- Other users who have already imported your shared exercises or routines into their own libraries keep those local copies.
6. Rules for uploaded content
Content you upload — including instruction videos, exercise descriptions, routine names, profile pictures, display names, and comments — must follow these rules.
You agree not to upload content that:
- Is not your own original work, or that you do not have the necessary rights to share.
- Contains nudity, sexually explicit material, or sexually suggestive content.
- Is hateful, harassing, threatening, or that promotes violence or self-harm.
- Depicts minors as the primary subject. Group footage where adults are training and a minor appears incidentally is acceptable, but minors must not be the focus of an instruction clip, profile, or shared exercise.
- Includes copyrighted music, footage, imagery, brand marks, or other third-party material that you do not own or licence.
- Provides medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation prescriptions, or other content that could be mistaken for professional health guidance. Calilog is a training log, not a medical service.
- Promotes commercial services, contains spam, or links to off-platform services in a deceptive way.
- Includes personal data of bystanders without their consent. Faces of bystanders in the background of an instruction clip should be blurred or framed out.
- Violates any applicable law or regulation.
Instruction videos in particular
Instruction videos must:
- Show calisthenics technique, stretching, mobility, or strength-training movement.
- Be filmed by you or someone you have authorised to film for you, and you must have the rights to publish the footage.
- Be at most 60 seconds long.
We may remove content that violates these rules at our discretion and without prior notice. Repeated violations can result in suspension or termination of your account.
7. Reporting and response time
You can report content you believe violates these Terms by tapping the overflow menu on any community-shared exercise, routine, instruction video, or user profile and choosing Report. You can also block individual users, which hides their community content from your view and prevents them from seeing yours.
We commit to reviewing all reports and responding within 24 hours of submission. Action may include removing the content, suspending the reported user, or marking the report as resolved without action where no violation is found. Repeat or egregious offenders are banned without further notice.
If you receive an unjust report or removal you believe was made in error, email support@calilog.com and we will review.
8. Coach features
If you use Calilog's coach features, you may publish exercise bundles and routines to clients who claim your invite code. You are responsible for the safety, accuracy, and appropriateness of the workouts you assign. Clients are not your patients; you are not providing medical or licensed professional health services through the Service. You confirm that you have the right to coach the clients you take on under the laws of your jurisdiction.
9. Community feed
Content you publish to the community feed is visible to other Calilog users on paid tiers. Other users may import your shared exercises and routines into their own local libraries; once imported, those local copies are governed by the importing user's device and we cannot pull them back if you later delete or unpublish the original.
10. Health and safety disclaimer
Training carries an inherent risk of injury. By using Calilog you acknowledge that you train at your own risk and that the Service is not a substitute for qualified medical, physiotherapy, fitness, or rehabilitation advice. Consult a doctor before starting any new training programme, particularly if you have pre-existing health conditions, are pregnant, or are recovering from injury.
11. Privacy
Personal data you provide to the Service is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you consent to that processing.
12. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Deleting your account erases your profile, your sets, your routines, your local exercises, your shared content, and your instruction videos. Some derived data (such as imports already made by other users) cannot be retracted.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or pose a risk to other users or to the Service.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Calilog and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any direct damages arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim and (b) EUR 100. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer-protection law.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are surfaced inside the app the next time you open it: you will be asked to review and accept the new version before continuing to use the Service. Non-material changes (for example, fixing a typo) may be applied without re-prompting.
